AGM
The club’s first ever Virtual AGM took place on Sunday evening. Thank you to treasurer Darena Hanly for her co-ordination of the AGM, which was a great success. Michael Dufficy was elected vice-chairperson, Sandra Finan was appointed as Children’s Officer, Barry Miley took on the Health and Wellbeing role, Padraig Scott was appointed as Players Rep and Martin Flynn was appointed to the Executive Committee as a Club Member. Thank you to outgoing officers/committee members Barney Flynn, Joe O’Rourke, Seamus Conway and Darragh O’Rourke for their contributions to the committee. Particular thanks to Joe O’Rourke for his trojan work in the area of Registration for many years – your time, dedication and effort has been greatly appreciated. All other officers were returned unopposed.

Sponsorship and Fundraising
Thank you to all of those who contributed sponsorship to the club last year. Your generosity helped to keep the club afloat during very difficult times. Thank you also to all who supported Fundraising efforts throughout the year – from the 2019 Christmas Day Swim to online Media Surveys, clothes collections, the Bonus Ball Draw and WhatsApp Bingo – your support in difficult times is greatly appreciated.

Parks Committee
A Parks Committee is being set up with a view to giving the clubgrounds a facelift. The club are seeking at least 20 volunteers, male and female, who would be interested in lending a hand to maintain/improve the grounds, when Covid19 restrictions allow. Please contact Barry Miley on 087 2226902 if you would be willing to help out.

Trustees
It was decided at the AGM that the club would move towards the Corporate Model of trusteeship, in line with GAA advice. The club wishes to thank all of its trustees, past and present, for their generosity and commitment to the club. We are deeply indebted to you.

Registration
Registration rates will remain the same as last year: Adult Player €80, Adult Non-Player/Scór €60, Overseas Member €50, Student with valid ID €50, Child €50, Family incl. two adults and all children u-18 €160. Sympathy and well wishes
A vote of sympathy was extended to all families in the parish who have lost loved ones in the past year, particularly the families of the late Noel Sweeney, Pat Costello and Seamus Hanly. Ar dheis Dé go n-anamacha. Well wishes are extended to the sick of the parish at this time, particularly those who are experiencing Covid-19. We wish you a full and speedy recovery.

Covid19 restrictions
Due to ongoing Level 5 restrictions, the pitch, clubhouse and gym are strictly closed to all members. The club appeals to all members to look after elderly or vulnerable members of the parish and those who are self-isolating for various reasons. Please do so in a safe manner – we are all looking forward to more normal times and a return to Gaa activity.

Minor Board AGM
An AGM of the club’s Minor Board will take place virtually on Sunday 24th January at 6pm. All underage coaches and parents of underage players are urged to attend. More details of how to access the AGM will be posted in next week’s Notes and on the club’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
